A 1992 Geo Prizm owned by Direct Dealer Ted Pickul of Sarasota,
Florida has gone over the 254,000 mile mark with only 10 oil changes
and 20 filters installed during its long life. “The engine is a 1.8 liter 4 cylinder which has never had any major
damage,” Pickul said. “The valve covers have never been removed,
and when you remove the oil cap and look inside the valve cover it is
just as clean today as it was when it was new.”

Carl Anderson of Colfax, Washington has been using
AMSOIL products for nearly 30 years. “The idea that I wouldn't have to crawl under my
car or truck to change the oil every 2,000 or 3,000
miles was a novel concept,” Anderson said. “I tried that
new product and have been an AMSOIL product user
ever since.”

Kenneth Lindland, a retired preacher from Grass Lake,
Michigan, didn’t really know what he was getting
into when he purchased his used 1985 Pontiac
Parisienne from his wife Agnes’ brother in 1989. At
that time, the car had just over 57,000 miles on it, and
Lindland said he would be happy if the car simply held
together until 137,000 miles. Although the car has accumulated more than
340,000 miles, the engine and transmission are in
remarkably good shape. In fact, it ran so well through
the years that the head was never removed for any
repairs. “I feel very indebted to AMSOIL,”
Lindland said. “No way would this car have given us
this fine service with conventional oils.” “We have changed the oil only 11
times (every 25,000 miles) while we owned the car,”
Lindland said.

“We are personally servicing over 100 pieces of equipment
with AMSOIL products,” Pam Anthony said. One
contractor whom they service has 18 different excavators
including a 365 Caterpillar which weighs over 155,000
pounds. These machines require serious lubrication, and
the Anthonys have been ready to demonstrate that
AMSOIL lubricants can offer serious value. “The contractor
has reported that their maintenance costs are down,”
Anthony said. “We are extending their engine oil drains
up to four times longer and their transmission oil drains
up to six times longer. And their engine wear rates have
been cut by 20 to 60 percent.”

Mike Geho has been using AMSOIL Series 3000 5W-30
Synthetic Diesel Engine Oil along with an AMSOIL
Dual-Guard By-Pass Filtration System in his truck for three years. His truck had 176,000
miles on it when he began using
synthetic oil. At that time he also
installed his by-pass filtration unit. “At the time I bought this
truck,” Geho said, “the
company I am leased to
bought a number of identical
trucks for their fleet.
All of these trucks have
been operating under the
same conditions (environment,
type of hauling, distances
travelled) since that time.
The trucks also have a dashmounted
digital display indicating
lifetime average fuel economy. To
date, my tractors average is 6.78 mpg and the company
trucks range from 5.8 to 6.2 mpg. The difference
between my 6.78 and the fleet average of 6.0 is over 11
percent. I attribute this significant savings to running
AMSOIL motor oil in my truck, while the others in the
company do not.” Geho changes his full-flow and by-pass filters on a
regular basis, and he also samples his oil at 20,000-mile
intervals to monitor the oil’s condition. He started this
maintenance practice at 176,000 miles and has not
changed the oil in his engine since. His truck now has
412,000 miles on it, and 236,000 of those miles have
been put on while running the original AMSOIL diesel
engine oil. Geho wants other owner-operators to know that
this type of maintenance practice has many benefits.“Most operators could experience savings of at least
two cents per mile,” Geho said, “which would be
$2000 to $5000 per year. That’s not including the
savings in fuel and disposal costs of oil and filters.

Pope said that because of the extra
power and protection AMSOIL 2-Cycle Oil
provided, Ash’s 1994 Kawasaki KX 60 bike is even able to compete against many newer and
more heavily modified bikes at the races. “Some of the parents who have spent lots of
money for the extra things on their kids’ bikes are very surprised when Tyler beats
them,” Pope said. “They always come over to ask what we have done to his bike.
We have to tell them that we have only tuned it up and taken care of it by running
AMSOIL.”

“I was introduced to AMSOIL products over 10
years ago after searching for a superior lubricant for my
big-block powered 1974 Corvette,” Duhs said. “I was
so impressed with the results that I became an AMSOIL
Dealer and began using it in all three of my cars. My

for routine maintenance,” Duhs said, “both Scott and
the technicians at S.S.R.E. were extremely impressed at
the condition of the internal engine components.”
Even though the engine had made more than 130
drag runs averaging 7,500 rpms, all of the bearings,
rings, cylinder walls and moving parts showed very
little of the wear the team expected to see.“Because of results like these,” Duhs said, “my
family will continue to sell and use your fine products
for many years to come.”

Last year, Reinier did some research on the AMSOIL
website, found he could get everything he needed and
became a Preferred Customer. He put AMSOIL 10W-30
motor oil in his 2001 Dodge Ram pickup truck, ATF in the
transmission, AMSOIL 75W-90 Gear Lube in the differentials
and installed an AMSOIL Super Duty Air Filter.
He runs the Ram hard, hauling a 25-foot, 4,200-pound
travel trailer through the Arizona heat.
In April 2001, Reinier made a trip up Five Mile Hill near
Cottonwood, AZ, using Mobil 1and Dodge-recommended
Mopar +4 tranny fluid. In May of this year, he made the
same trip, only this time he had AMSOIL lubes bumper to
bumper.
On the first trip, the Ram struggled to maintain 40
mph and the engine temperature went to 240 degrees.
This May, with the AMSOIL lubes, the Ram pulled the
trailer at 50 mph and the engine temp stayed steady at 210
degrees, Reinier said.“AMSOIL is my oil from now on, and I’m just sorry I
didn’t start using it a long time ago when I first knew
about it. It’s amazing stuff,” he said. “And, it lasts the
time of five oil changes! That’s a big savings. I’m telling
everyone I know about it, and that it’s not only the first in
synthetics, it’s the best.”

Power Stroke V-8 engine. “I call it the monster truck,”
Austin said. And he uses that truck hard. He hauls a 32-
foot travel trailer, his dirt bikes and his family of four
with the truck. “That truck is a real hoss,” he said.
Because it’s a diesel engine, Austin said, it’s never
going to run quietly, but when he put in the AMSOIL it immediately got quieter,” he said. The truck gained power, as well. “It has better
acceleration off the line than it had before, and better
acceleration across its full range. You can really feel it
in the seat of your pants,” Austin said. “And the whistle of the turbocharger? This
oil shut that turbocharger up.
It’s almost inaudible.” He has, however, measured
the difference in gas mileage
with the huge diesel engine.
Before using AMSOIL motor
oil, Austin got 11 miles per
gallon doing in-town driving.
After he installed AMSOIL, he
got 13.8 mpg. “That’s like 25 percent,” he said. “That’s
a huge improvement.“I’m just thrilled, absolutely thrilled with this oil’s
performance in both of these vehicles. Leslie’s van is
smooth, it’s really smooth.” “I am a big fan,” Austin said. “I used to think you
AMSOIL guys were just a bunch of zealots, and now I
am one.”
